Cantin-Arku has played in every game for Montreal since being drafted 8th overall in the 2024 CFL Draft. Over 36 CFL regular-season games, he has recorded 71 tackles, 11 additional special teams tackles, 9 sacks, and 2 interceptions. He added 2 tackles and a special teams tackle this past postseason.

Montreal has yet to start Cantin-Arku in a CFL game, but he has frequently been utilized and proven to be effective both in the second level and as an edge rusher.

“Geoffrey has done a very good job since joining us and he deserves this vote of confidence,” stated Alouettes General Manager Danny Maciocia. “He keeps improving and taking on more and more responsibility. We are very pleased with this agreement.”

He began his collegiate career with Syracuse, where he played in 30 games with 9 starts from 2019 to 2021. He recorded 107 total tackles (79 solo, 28 assisted), 10 TFLs, 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, a pass defended, and a touchdown with the program.

Cantin-Arku then played for Memphis in 2022 and 2023, appearing in 26 games with 24 starts. With Memphis, he recorded 144 total tackles (76 solo, 68 assisted), 7 TFLs, 2 sacks, an interception, 3 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and a touchdown.
