Farhan Lalji on “Fixing” CFL Game, USFL Rulebook Released, Montreal Alouettes William Stanback

There’s been a lot of talk about “fixing” or “saving” the CFL game, including moving to 4 downs, but whats does that really mean and what would the ramifications be? TSN’s Farhan Lalji returns to the program to chat through the latest discussions from league officials who are looking at “improving” the CFL game in the 2022 offseason.

The USFL has begun training camps and unveiled their new (and slightly modified) rulebook. We chat through what’s unique about the USFL rulebook and the latest news coming out of training camp.

Plus William Stanback of the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes drops by the show to talk through his off-season training regime and what he’s looking forward to accomplishing in the 2022 CFL season.

I hear the whining but has anyone done a comparison of CFL v NFL?
    Number of plays
    Number of Rushing yards
    Number of passing yards
    Number of points
    Number of punts
    Yards on punt/kick returns
    and the key one Scoring

If CFL has more offence and more points – and I don’t know – then let’s leave off all the complaining.
