Week 12 CFL On TSN TV Ratings

The TV ratings are in for Week 12 in the CFL regular season on TSN. And the numbers rebounded significantly from a week ago. For Week 11, the CFL’s three games averaged 415,000 viewers. The lowest weekly average of the season. However, Through 12 weeks, the 2021 CFL ON TSN season has attracted an average audience of 523,000 viewers, increasing +7% compared to the same point in the 2019 season.

The numbers went up significantly from Week 11 (415k) to Week 12. All four CFL games on TSN this past week averaged 522,000 viewers. The league’s best showing in the ratings since Week 7, when they averaged 566,000 viewers.

Week 12 CFL On TSN TV Ratings

  • Friday’s 10/22 night game between the Toronto Argonauts and Montreal Alouettes averaged 410,000 viewers.
  • The opening game of a Saturday triple-header 10/23 on TSN between Hamilton and Ottawa averaged 420,000 viewers.
  • The second part of the doubleheader saw BC and Winnipeg average 601,000 viewers. Despite the game being a no-contest with the Bombers drubbing the Lions 45-0.
  • The tripleheader finale between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Calgary Stampeders’ averaged 660,000 viewers. The Roughriders have consistently been the CFL’s top rated team in the ratings all season.

      I remember going to an Argo game some years ago when they were playing Sask. and I swear there were more Rider fans in the stands than Argo fans lol.
