Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has become an official partner of the Canadian Football League

In addition to being named the official partner of the Canadian Football League, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has also become the official partner of the 111th Grey Cup. The agreement stated that Coinbase will organize a coin raffle at the event, which will take place in Vancouver in November.

The partnership aims to bring cryptocurrency to CFL fans. The exchange provided information indicating a significant increase in Canadian interest in cryptocurrencies. About five million people in the country are involved in crypto assets, which is 13% of the total population. This partnership is part of integrated marketing for the Coinbase crypto exchange.

The agreement with the crypto exchange is the first time in history that a reputable Canadian sports league has officially collaborated on cryptocurrencies. Lucas Matheson, CEO of Coinbase in Canada, particularly highlighted that the soccer league in Canada is one of the most famous in the country. Accordingly, through the agreement, the cryptocurrency exchange intends to strengthen Canadians’ relationship with cryptocurrencies and provide them with new opportunities to get involved in the digital economy.

Such partnerships once again emphasize the significant role of digital technology in sports. There are similar collaborations in other areas: for example, many sports leagues have recently started to enter into partnerships with bookmakers and even licensed casinos. Recently, the interest in casinos has grown, especially considering their new innovative games. For example, the JetX game has become particularly popular due to its addictive gameplay and fast-paced rounds. The game is available on mobile platforms. To play it, you only need to choose the right app from the jet-x-game.com apps. There are other similar resources, but this website is the most trusted and visited.

The soccer league’s partnership with bookmakers is yet to be seen, but partnerships with cryptocurrency exchanges are in full swing. As part of the sports and cryptocurrency initiative, CFL fans can participate in the crypto-economy through promotions. So, with the first transaction, they get a mandatory bonus of the cryptocurrency equivalent of 25 dollars.

But that’s not all: when scanning codes, fans get the opportunity to win prizes and season tickets to matches. The size of the main prize is 50 thousand dollars, which will be accrued in bitcoins. In addition, the winner will get a trip to the next Grey Cup. This is one of Canada’s most significant sporting events, and its history spans over a hundred years.

In addition, the event involves other activities, including a show with the Jonas Brothers.
