Banjo Bowl Sells Out, as the Bombers Host the Riders

Despite increasing worry of spreading COVID-19 at sporting events, the legendary Banjo Bowl will go on as planned in Winnipeg. And even better than that, itโ€™s sold out.

But according to the report by the CBC, initial numbers reflect a lot less Saskatchewan fans than usual.

This will be the 2nd sell out game in a row between the 2, as the Bombers won in comeback fashion against the Roughriders in last weekโ€™s Labour Day matchup, scoring 16 unanswered points to win 23-8 at Mosaic.

This time, the Riders hope for revenge. The teams enter the game with just 1 loss apiece, Saskatchewanโ€™s coming at the hands of the Blue Bombers.
