Originally announced on December 13th, 2022, the Edmonton Elks will be offering a guaranteed win ticket heading into the 2023 Canadian Football League season as it was re-announced yesterday. Simply put, it is a new initiative to bolster attendance for the 2023 season. When purchasing a game ticket, it will be honoured for all the home games until the Elks win a home game. The Edmonton Elks first and foremost will want to halt their current home-losing streak and focus more on productivity on the field.
But it gets better.
Not only will there be a guaranteed win ticket starting as low as $17.00 per game, but kids 12 years of age and under will also have free admission to the game when accompanied by an adult in section P4.Â
But we’re not stopping here either. Here’s where it gets even better.
Fans who purchase their home opener tickets before March 17th, 2023, will automatically be placed in a draw for some spectacular up-and-coming events. Â
ADDITIONAL EVENTS
Luke Combs World Tour June 3rd, 2023 at Commonwealth Stadium
Edmonton Oilers vs. Calgary Flames October 29th, 2023 at Commonwealth Stadium for the 2023 Tim Horton’s Heritage Classic
Metallica August 23rd, 2023 and August 25th, 2023 at Commonwealth Stadium
A WIN-WIN SITUATION
The Edmonton Elks are heading into the 2023 season with a team that has a lot of upsides. Not only will the young core only get better with more playing time and being very aggressive during the free agency period; things at the moment appear to have more of a positive spirit in the City of Champions.
Add in more value for Edmontonians to come out and support the Elks, it will only be a positive approach for the 2023 season. Then again, offering a chance to see Metallica and the 2023 Heritage Classic against their Provincial Rivals will be something special to see at Commonwealth Stadium.
Let’s go Edmonton!
Get your tickets, and cheer on the Elks!
