A day after the 2024 CFL Draft, the Edmonton Elks released two from the 2022 CFL Draft Class.
LB Enock Makonzo was a 1st-round pick and fourth overall in the 2022 CFL Draft from Coastal Carolina. The Lachine, Quebec product dressed for 16 games in his rookie season for the green and gold where he accumulated 57 total tackles and 2 sacks. Unfortunately, Enock Makonzo was reduced to a lesser role in 2023 with only five games played. Â

DB Jeremie Dominique was a 6th-round pick, and 48th overall in the 2022 CFL Draft from Charleston. The Montreal, Quebec native suited up for 29 games and contributed with sixteen tackles over his two-year stint with the Edmonton Elks.Â
