The Edmonton Elks have signed defensive back and linebacker Emmanuel Rugamba.Â
Emmanuel Rugamba adds nothing but value for the Edmonton Elks. The now former B.C. Lions comes to the Alberta Capital where he has a resume of playing defensive back, special teams, as well as linebacker.
The Zambian – born played his college football at the University of Miami (Ohio).
After going unselected in the 2021 NFL draft, he attended the Cleveland Browns training camp.
He would then sign with the B.C. Lions for the 2022 CFL season. Since entering the CFL, Emmanuel Rugamba has 44 games under his belt. With that, he has contributed with 169 defensive tackles, 4 sacks, and 2 interceptions. Â
