uman grew up in Washington and was a late addition to the list of players eligible for the CFL Draft qualifying for Canadian citizenship through his mother. He attended the CFL Combine following being added to the prospect pool for the draft. At the Combine, he demonstrated good athleticism by running a 4.86-second 40-yard dash, a 7.28-second 3-cone drill, and a 4.33-second shuttle. He also performed a 9’9” broad jump and a 33-inch vertical.
Bauman measures at 6’6 and is 229 pounds. His size and athleticism indicate a possible utilization in short-yardage plays adding some value to him as a CFL quarterback prospect. However now that he is signed to an NFL team, CFL teams will be wary to spend a draft pick on him.
