Ottawa RedBlacks: The Ottawa RedBlacks are coming off a bye after a narrow 34-36 loss to Winnipeg and are still looking for their first win. Alouettes Keys to the Game

Continue the Strong Running Game

Travis Theis rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown last week. If Montreal can continue to bring such a strong run game moving forward, their offense should be essentially unstoppable.

Bounceback Game for Davis Alexander

Alexander had his least productive game so far this season last week. The Alouettes will want to see him a little more dangerous this week to keep the momentum in the passing game going.

Limit Ottawa’s Big-Play Receivers

Kalil Pimpleton and Ayden Eberhardt both had strong outings in their last game. Montreal’s secondary needs to stay disciplined and limit explosive plays.

Generate Pressure on Jake Maier

Maier threw for 344 yards in Week 7. Consistent pressure from the Alouettes’ defensive front will help make things difficult for him to drive the offense.
