It was a quadruple-header in Week 15. Fans witnessed Toronto win a narrow 26-23 vs. Ottawa. Winnipeg got revenge over Saskatchewan in the Banjo Bowl, 19-6. Edmonton blew out Calgary 53-16 in the Battle of Alberta. To complete the night of 12 hours of football, BC beat Montreal 48-29

Hello CFL Fans! Here are your CFL News Hub Power Rankings after Week 15.

1 – Edmonton Elks

Record: 10-3

Previous ranking: 2

After last week's comeback, Edmonton were taking nothing for granted in their return game.

Edmonton dominated Calgary in time of possession, keeping the ball for 34:23. Moreover, Edmonton’s net offence was 428 yards, to Calgary’s 245.

After the opening quarter ended with a 7-3 Calgary lead, Edmonton went full throttle, making it a one-sided affair, outscoring Calgary 50-9.

The Elks have officially qualified for a playoff spot, their first since 2019.

The five-year drought has been the longest for Edmonton since the 1960s.

Next game: Saturday, September 19th, 2026, in Toronto.

2 – Montreal Alouettes

Record: 10-3

Previous ranking: 1

Since their Week 12 46-16 win over Ottawa, the Montreal defence has taken a few steps back. The Alouettes allowed 122 points in their last three games for an average of 40.6 points per game.

Davis Alexander went 19 for 36, for 242 yards, 2 touchdown passes, and 1 interception.

The Montreal defence gave up a net offence of 429 yards.

Next game: Friday, September 18th, 2026, in Hamilton.

3 – BC Lions

Record: 7-6

Previous ranking: 4

The BC Lions wanted to answer the bell from last week, as it was a game that they let slip away.

Not only did the BC Lions beat Montreal, but they made the Montreal defence look average.

Nathan Rourke dissected the Montreal defence with sheer precision.

Zander Horvath had another great day with 3 touchdowns.

Darnell Sankey had a big night with 9 tackles.

Next game: BC has a bye in week 16. Their next scheduled game is Saturday, September 25th, 2026, against Saskatchewan.

4 – Saskatchewan Roughriders

Record: 8-5

Previous ranking: 3

After a big win over Winnipeg last week, it was back to the drawing board for Saskatchewan.

Knowing it would be a clone of the tempo and style of football, the Riders wanted to correct the last-second moment when Winnipeg tied the game, forcing overtime.

The Roughriders offence was unable to find a solution to counter any defensive scheme by the Blue Bombers.

The BC Lions are knocking on the door and at the moment are poised to take away Saskatchewan’s number 2 spot in the West Division.

Next game: Saskatchewan will be on a bye in week 16. Their next scheduled game is Saturday, September 25th, 2026, in BC.

5 – Winnipeg Blue Bombers

Record: 7-6

Previous ranking: 5

It was a slugfest in the Banjo Bowl in Winnipeg.

In a much-needed win to stay alive in a playoff hunt, Winnipeg put on a grind-it-out display in a hard-fought battle vs. Saskatchewan.

Redha Kramdi was sensational for the Bombers' defence, making big plays to halt the Saskatchewan offence.

However, it came at a cost, as Zach Collaros received a lot of punishment from the Saskatchewan defence. Furthermore, after throwing an interception, Collaros tried to make a tackle. He fell awkwardly on his head and neck late in the 3rd quarter. Collaros was then pulled from the game.

Next game: Winnipeg has a bye in week 16. Their next scheduled game is Friday, September 25th, 2026, vs. Toronto.

6 – Toronto Argonauts

Record: 7-6

Previous ranking: 6

Chad Kelly had a strong day with 443 passing yards, 2 touchdown passes, and 2 interceptions.

David Ungerer III was huge with 9 receptions, 175 receiving yards, and 1 touchdown.

Isaiah Smith contributed with 8 rushing yards on 15 carries.

It was a close game, and the Argos faced a tough Ottawa team.

Next game: Saturday, September 19th, 2026, vs. Edmonton.

7 – Calgary Stampeders

Record: 5-8

Previous ranking: 7

What could go wrong did go wrong for Calgary.

If Calgary felt they let last week's game slip away to their arch-rivals, yesterday’s game was counterintuitive in the current back-to-back series.

Vernon Adams Jr. had a rough day moving the offence in an effective manner.

After the 2nd quarter, Edmonton piled up the points at will. Calgary, on the other hand, had no solution to the task at hand.

If Calgary is looking to punch a ticket to the postseason, they need to win as many games as possible. Calgary will play back-to-back games vs. Ottawa. Followed by games in Saskatchewan, in Winnipeg, and ending at home vs. BC.

Next game: Saturday, September 19th, 2026 vs. Ottawa.

8 – Hamilton Tiger-Cats

Record: 4-9

Previous ranking: 8

Hamilton was on a bye in Week 15. At 4-9, they will need to run the table for their last 5 scheduled games or need a lot of help in their favour to qualify for a playoff spot.

It will be a difficult task ahead, as they will host Montreal in Week 16

Next game: Friday, September 18th, 2026 vs. Montreal.

9 - Ottawa Redblacks

Record: 0-12

Previous ranking: 9

Although overshadowed this season, Ottawa played decent football up to halftime in just about every game this season. The problem with Ottawa is the collapse in the 2nd half.

Entering Toronto in Week 15, aside from being winless this season, Ottawa was searching for any positives for a victory.

With the result being another defeat, Ottawa made it difficult for Toronto. It was their best overall performance to date.

Next game: Saturday, September 19th, 2026 in Calgary.
