At 28 years old, Flintoft heads into his fourth tenure with the Lions, following a productive 2023 season. His 95 punts travelled for a total of 4,439 yards, yielding a 46.7-yard average. In the kickoff department, his 67 attempts covered 4,144 yards, with an average of 61.9 yards—these figures placed him fifth in the Canadian Football League for both punting and kickoff yardage.

The California-born player demonstrated remarkable stability in the 2022 season as well, landing third in the league for total punting yards (4,935) and net punting yards (3,910). His kickoff record was equally notable with a 61.7-yard average across 80 kickoffs.
