BC Lions Sign Ex-Colts WR Dezmon Patmon

The BC Lions signed American wide receiver Dezmon Patmon on Monday per CFL.ca. Dezmon Patmon played for Washington State prior to being drafted by the Indianapolis Colts.

WR Dezmon Patmon – Washington State (27 y/o, 6’3, 210 lbs)

Dezmon Patmon played in 41 games for Washington State from 2016 to 2019. He racked up 156 receptions for 1,976 yards and 13 touchdowns with the program. He led the team in receiving yards in 2018 after recording 61 receptions for 816 yards and 5 touchdowns over 13 games. In his final year with the program, he caught 58 passes for 762 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Patmon was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the 6th round of the 2020 NFL Draft 212th overall. He played in 10 games for the Colts catching 4 passes for 45 yards and a touchdown. He spent part of the 2022 season on Indy’s practice squad.

In

January of 2023, he signed with the Buffalo Bills practice roster and later signed a future contract. He was waived by the Bills ahead of the 2023 season. In late August of 2023, he signed with the Carolina Panthers practice squad and was released a week later.

Dezmon Patmon was recently signed with the United Football League’s Michigan Panthers. He signed with the Panthers on February 5 and was recently removed from the team’s roster on March 21 just ahead of the team’s final cuts.
