CFL All-Star DB Jamal Peters Returns To The Toronto Argonauts

CFL All-Star DB Jamal Peters is back with the defending Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts. The all-league cornerback returns after signing with the Atlanta Falcons in January.

The Falcons released Peters on June 5th. The standout 26-year-old boundary cornerback didn’t get much of a fair chance to stick in the NFL after developing into a star in the CFL.

The Toronto Argonauts are welcoming back Peters with open arms. The Boatmen have brought back another key member of their championship corps, this time at the final hour. Just in the nick of time, as the team has had injuries and departures in their secondary. Toronto kicks off its 2023 campaign at BMO Field Sunday night against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The 18-time CFL champs will be celebrating their 150th year of existence.
