In a recent announcement from the Canadian Football League (CFL), disciplinary actions have been revealed against two players:
Gary Johnson Jr., the linebacker for Ottawa REDBLACKS, is facing a fine for a physical altercation that involved punching Calgary Stampeders linebacker, Charlie Moore.
In a separate incident, Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ linebacker Adam Bighill is also penalized with a fine for his excessively forceful tackle against Saskatchewan Roughriders’ quarterback Shea Patterson.
In line with the CFL’s policy, the exact figures for these fines have not been publicly disclosed.
