Ottawa is 0-3 and has been outscored 110-80 through three weeks, dropping games to Edmonton, Toronto and a heartbreaker to Montreal last week, 37-35. Saskatchewan comes in banged up but battle-tested, having split its last two — a wild 40-37 win over Calgary followed by a 34-40 loss to Toronto that snapped their momentum. This one has shootout written all over it: the Riders are a perfect 3-0 on the over this season, and Ottawa's defense has been leaking points all year.
Players to Watch:
- Trevor Harris (Saskatchewan Roughriders, QB) — 87-of-115 for 1,175 yards, 8 TD and just 1 INT, one of the most efficient arms in the league and he's facing a defense that's given up 110 points in three games.
- Kian Schaffer-Baker (Saskatchewan Roughriders, WR) — 27 catches for 384 yards and 2 TD, back on the injury report as "available" after dealing with an oblique issue, and he's Harris's top target when the Riders need chunk plays.
- Alonzo Addae (Ottawa Redblacks, DB) — activated off single-game injury this week after a head injury scare, Ottawa needs him healthy and disruptive if they want to slow down this Riders passing attack.
Injury Watch:
- Nick Mardner (Ottawa Redblacks, WR) — Out, Achilles.
- Keelan White (Ottawa Redblacks, WR) — Questionable, Ankle.
- Dylan Djete (Saskatchewan Roughriders, WR) — Out, Quadriceps.
- A.J. Ouellette (Saskatchewan Roughriders, RB) — Questionable, Ankle.
- James Letcher Jr. (Saskatchewan Roughriders, WR) — moved to six-game injury with an elbow issue, a real hit to Saskatchewan's receiver depth.
Pick: Saskatchewan Roughriders 37-27. Ottawa's defense has been a sieve all season and Trevor Harris is playing too clean right now to expect a letdown, even with the Riders' receiver room thinned out. Bet the over — Saskatchewan hasn't stayed under the total once this year.

Quick Hits
- Ottawa cut ties with QB Nicholas Vattiato this week while activating Lucas Cormier, Eugene Lewis and Brian Cole II off injured lists to try to stop the bleeding.
- Saskatchewan's receiving corps is stretched thin with Dylan Djete, James Letcher Jr. and Jaylen Johnson all sidelined, so the Riders brought up Johnny Johnson III and Mathew Sexton from the practice roster.
- Fantasy players should still lean on Trevor Harris and Kian Schaffer-Baker — even shorthanded at receiver, that connection has been Saskatchewan's most reliable weapon.
- Ottawa is chasing its first win of the season and hasn't beaten anybody yet, with three straight losses by a combined 32 points.
