The ratings are in for the CFL’s Western and Eastern Final games on TSN on Sunday.
A week after averaging 865,000 viewers in the first weekend of CFL playoff games. The league averaged 1.096 million viewers in their Finals broadcasts on Sunday afternoon.
CFL Playoff Finals TV Ratings On TSN
Sunday’s East Final between the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats averaged 846,000 viewers.
Sunday’s West Final between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Saskatchewan Roughriders averaged 1.346 million viewers. The highest mark of the entire CFL season to this point. The Western Final was the second highest rated sporting event on TV in Canada. Behind the Leafs-Wild HNIC contest which drew 1.4 million viewers
Both CFL Finals games aired on ESPNNews on Sunday. Nielsen Media Research monitors neither broadcast. The 108th Grey Cup between Winnipeg and Hamilton will air on ESPN2 this coming Sunday at 6:30 pm eastern.
