The Edmonton Elks added depth to the offensive line in a recent signing with OL Gregor MacKellar.

The Timberlea, Nova Scotia native attended Rice University during the 2017 season.  He would not play as he was redshirted that season.  He would later arrive in his home province after a coaching change with the Rice Owls football program.  He would be part of the St. Francis Xavier X-Men football team in time for the 2018 season.

He was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts during the 2022 CFL draft when he was selected in the first round and sixth overall.

Since playing in the CFL, the 6’-4”, 311 pounds offensive lineman has played 30 games for the Double Blue and was part of two Grey Cup Championships for the Boatman in 2022 and 2024.
