The Montreal Alouettes announced on Tuesday the signing of kicker Lewis Ward to the practice roster. The 33-year-old kicker brings 7-seasons of CFL experience, all of which were with the Ottawa RedBlacks.
The Alouettes also announced the release of American WR/returner Philip Brooks (Kansas State).
“We are very happy to have Lewis join our team,” stated Alouettes’ General Manager Danny Maciocia. “He has had one of the most accurate legs in the CFL for several years and we are certain he still has some great football to offer us.”
