Toronto Argonauts Announce Contract Extension

The Toronto Argonauts have successfully secured an extension for National linebacker Brian Harelimana, forestalling his free agency, which was set for February 13.

Harelimana’s Journey Through the CFL Season

Having joined the Argos in October 2023, the 28-year-old linebacker made a significant appearance in the Eastern Final against Montreal. Prior to his tenure with Toronto, Harelimana had a stint with Saskatchewan for 12 games at the start of the season, followed by one game with Montreal, accumulating a total of four defensive and four special teams tackles across 13 games.

A product of the University of Montreal, Harelimana was selected in the fourth round of the 2020 CFL Draft by Montreal.
