TORONTO (September 7, 2022) – Jaelon Acklin, Lorenzo Mauldin IV and Jameer Thurman are the Canadian Football League (CFL)’s Top Performers for Week 13 of the 2022 season.

The three players were chosen by a panel of judges made up of Matt Dunigan and Marshall Ferguson of TSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS, who independently send their selections to the CFL league office.

• Career-high 159 receiving yards on seven receptions (22.7 yards per catch)
• Two 30+ yard receptions and two second down conversion catches
• Fifth 100+ yard game to lead the league; seventh of his career
• League leader with 963 receiving yards, on 56 receptions
• Highlights:
  • Acklin makes an acrobatic catch along the sideline

• Five tackles, two sacks, one tackle for a loss and one pass knockdown
• Two sacks and one tackle for a loss led to loss of eight yards
• Third game this season with multiple sacks
• 2022 season: 10 sacks (league leader) and 29 tackles

LB | JAMEER THURMAN | CALGARY STAMPEDERS | CGY 26 – EDM 18

• Tied a career-high with 10 tackles in a game – second time in his career
• Added one sack and one tackle for a loss, which led to a loss of nine yards
• 2022 season: Eight games, 40 tackles, two interceptions, one sack, and one forced fumble
