Isiah Wooden played his final 2 seasons of NCAA ball in the FCS with Southern Utah where he appeared in 22 games with 17 starts. He caught 100 passes with the program for 1,726 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also returned 14 kickoffs for 386 yards. In 2023 he caught 61 passes for 904 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was 2nd in the FCS in receiving touchdowns in 2023.

Wooden spent 2019 to 2021 with Kent State although he only appeared in 4 games which saw him record 4 catches for 94 yards and a touchdown. In 2018 he played Division 2 for Dixie State before transferring to Kent State which required him to sit out the 2019 season due to transfer rules.

Wooden signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in May and was released in late July. Shortly after he signed with the Chargers where he played in 2 preseason games which saw him catch his only target for 2 yards.
