The Stampeders had until 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 16 to inform the league office of their roster changes, with official team announcements occurring throughout Tuesday and Wednesday.
Just days after training camps officially opened on Sunday, May 14, the Stampeders have made the difficult decision to release 11 players from their roster. This includes Global linebacker Ryan Gomes, who was a second-round pick in the 2022 Global Draft.
