Saskatchewan comes in at 2-0 and riding genuine momentum — they've beaten BC and Calgary in back-to-back weeks, including a wild 40-37 thriller over the Stamps in Week 3. Trevor Harris has been clean with the football, zero interceptions through three games, and the Riders are a perfect 2-0 ATS with both games going over the total. This isn't a team you want to visit when they're rolling at Mosaic.

Toronto is 1-1 after torching Ottawa 44-24 last week, but Chad Kelly has been a turnover machine — 5 interceptions already this season against just 7 touchdowns. The Argos have the firepower to keep up, but Kelly's ball security has to be cleaner on the road against a defence that's been getting stops. The Riders' Pete Robertson leads the entire league with five sacks through three games and has registered at least one every single week. Kelly will feel him early and often.

With the over hitting in all four combined games these two teams have played this season and an O/U set at 55, the scoring environment sets up nicely — but turnovers could swing this one fast. The turnover battle winner is 10-1 in games this season league-wide. If Kelly keeps giving the ball away, Saskatchewan won't need to do much to win comfortably.

Players to Watch:

  • Trevor Harris (Saskatchewan, QB) — 53-of-72 for 766 yards, 6 TDs, and zero picks. Harris has been a model of efficiency and ball control all season.
  • Kian Schaffer-Baker (Saskatchewan, WR) — 19 receptions, 295 yards, and 2 TDs makes him Harris's go-to weapon and the most dangerous receiver Toronto's secondary will face Friday.
  • Chad Kelly (Toronto, QB) — 869 yards and 7 TDs look good on paper, but 5 interceptions in two games is a problem he has to fix tonight on the road.
  • Kevin Mital (Toronto, WR) — 15 catches for 287 yards and 1 TD heading in, and he's cleared the injury report as Available after a calf issue. Toronto needs him producing.
  • Samuel Hicks (Toronto, RB) — 132 rushing yards on 25 carries. If the Argos want to keep Kelly out of trouble, establishing the ground game is the blueprint.

Injury Watch:

  • DeWayne Hendrix (Toronto, DL) — Out (Hamstring; single-game injury extension filed June 25)
  • Ethan John (Toronto, DB) — Out (Ankle; moved to single-game injury June 25)
  • Robert Priester (Toronto, DB) — Out (Achilles; on six-game injury list)
  • A.J. Ouellette (Saskatchewan, RB) — Doubtful (Ankle; transferred to reserve roster June 25 — Quali Conley elevated to fill in)
  • Dhel Duncan-Busby (Saskatchewan, WR) — Out (Shoulder; single-game injury)
  • Nelson Lokombo (Saskatchewan, DB) — Out (Ankle; six-game injury list extended)
  • Juwuane Hughes (Saskatchewan, DB) — Out (Ankle; on six-game injury list)
  • KeeSean Johnson (Saskatchewan, WR) — Available (Knee)
  • James Vaughters (Saskatchewan, DL) — Available (Knee)

Pick: Saskatchewan 31-27. Harris keeps it clean, Pete Robertson makes Kelly's night miserable, and the Riders stay unbeaten at home — but Toronto hangs around long enough to keep this one interesting and push it past the total.

Quick Hits

  • Saskatchewan elevated Quali Conley from the reserve roster on June 25 to replace the doubtful A.J. Ouellette at running back — Conley is the name to know if you're streaming this one.
  • Toronto's secondary is getting hit hard by injuries — Priester (Achilles, six-game IR), Ethan John (Ankle, out), and the team added Anthony Wilson and Alexander Teubner from the practice roster just to fill the gaps. Schaffer-Baker could feast.
  • Fantasy tip: Kevin Mital is listed as Available after his calf scare and has 287 receiving yards already — if he suits up in Regina, he's worth the start with Kelly likely to throw early and often.
  • Saskatchewan's Pete Robertson has at least one sack in every game this season and leads the entire league with five — he's the biggest X-factor in this matchup and a legitimate nightmare matchup for an Argos offensive line already dealing with depth issues after Kendall Randolph went to the six-game IR.
