The Edmonton Elks fall to 5-9 and remain in fourth place in the West, ahead of only the Calgary Stampeders (4-9).
This win gives Winnipeg some breathing room in the playoff race as they look to secure a postseason berth. For Edmonton, the loss makes their path to the playoffs more difficult with only a few games remaining in the regular season.
