Hamilton Tiger-Cats Have Three Players Named 2022 CFL All-Stars

The CFL has released its list of players that have been nominated as league all-stars. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats had three players named CFL All-Stars. Those players are wide receiver Tim White, offensive lineman Brandon Revenberg, and linebacker Kameron Kelly.

Tim White and Kameron Kelly both had breakout seasons in 2022 and this is the first time that they have been nominated as league-wide all-stars in the CFL. This is the 4th time Brandon Revenberg has been named a CFL All-Star. This honour is a testament to the productivity and reliability of each of these players throughout a long CFL season. We will take a look at the accomplishments that led to these players being named CFL All-Stars.

WR Tim White  – 1st time CFL All-Star

In 2022, Tim White was able to establish himself as a reliable playmaker for the Tiger-Cats offence. White played in 17 regular season games, and also played in the East Semi-Final game at Montreal. White lead the CFL in receptions with 94 catches and produced 1,265 receiving yards which ranked 4th in the CFL. He also ranked 8th in the CFL in receiving touchdowns with 8 catches for touchdowns. White was also named the MOP for Hamilton, a Top CFL performer in weeks 11 and 19, and was selected as a CFL East Division All-Star for the 2nd consecutive year.

OL Brandon Revenberg – 4 time CFL All-Star

Brandon Revenberg is a 4 time CFL All-Star and has been selected as a CFL East Division All-Star for the last 4 seasons. Revenberg played left guard for a Tiger-Cats offensive line that showed significant improvement throughout the 2022 season. Revenberg played in 17 regular season games and the playoff game in Montreal. He was also named the East Division’s Most Outstanding Lineman, an honour that he has received 3 times since 2018.

LB Kameron Kelly – 1st time CFL All-Star

This is Kameron Kelly’s first season to be selected as a CFL All-Star, and it was also his first season to be named as a CFL East Division All-Star. Kelly’s 2022 season was a model of reliability and on-field excellence. He played in all 18 regular season games and the playoff game in Montreal as Sam linebacker. Kelly was 2nd in the CFL with five interceptions. He also had two TFLs, 2 Quarterback sacks, 5 pass breakups, and was credited with 51 tackles.
