2026 CFL Global Mock Draft for The Hamilton Tiger-Cats

As the Hamilton Tiger-Cats prepare for the 2026 CFL Draft, they are also simultaneously preparing for the 2026 CFL Global Draft. The Global draft generally gives CFL teams an opportunity to add diversity to their rosters, and most years, it is a great chance to pick up specialists. However, over the last few CFL Global drafts, the Tiger-Cats have worked to get more value from their Global draft class.

This year, the talent pool for the Global draft has a wealth of talent beyond specialists. In addition, these Global players are capable of making significant contributions on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, as well as to the Tiger-Cats’ special teams units. During the 2026 CFL Global Draft, the Tiger-Cats are expected to take an aggressive approach, focusing on adding depth to their offensive and defensive lines.

Round 1, Pick 5, TE/H-Back Rohan Jones

Scott Milanovich has sought a legitimate tight end and H-back since taking over as Hamilton Tiger-Cats head coach. This year, the team can secure a long-term solution at both positions by selecting Rohan Jones, a physically prepared player from the University of Arkansas, in the 2026 Global Draft. Jones can also contribute to special teams, particularly as a cover player on kickoff, kick return, and punt return.

Round 2, Pick 14, Defensive Lineman Cameron Michaud

In the 2nd round of the 2026 Global Draft, the Tiger-Cats can bolster their defensive line. French defensive lineman Cameron Michaud, expected to be available, has the prototypical CFL frame and has shown he can occupy lanes and swat passes at Bluefield State. Michaud would immediately fit as a rotational player on the Tiger-Cats defensive line.
