Trio of Stampeders named Top Performers with Stevens, Mills and Adeyemi-Berglund

TORONTO (November 1, 2022) – Tommy Stevens, Dedrick Mills and Isaac Adeyemi-Berglund are the Canadian Football League (CFL)’s Top Performers for Week 21 of the 2022 season.

The three players were chosen by a panel of judges made up of Matt Dunigan and Marshall Ferguson of TSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS, who independently send their selections to the CFL league office.

• 163 rushing yards on four carries; two touchdowns (first-career passing major and one rushing)
• Averaged 40.8 yards per carry
• 4-of-5 passing for 32 yards
• 85-yard touchdown was the longest rushing play of the year
• 2022 season: 297 rushing yards, 5.3 average yards per carry, ten touchdowns (one passing, nine rushing)
• Highlights:
  • Tommy Stevens runs for 85-yard touchdown
  • Stevens connects with Philpot for first TD pass
  • Stevens rushes for 71-yard gain

• Career-high 125 rushing yards – third career 100+ yard game
• Averaged 8.9 yards per carry and scored one touchdown
• Three 10+ yard carries and two for 20+ yards
• 2022 season: six games, 564 combined yards (459 rushing, 105 receiving) and two touchdowns
• Highlight:
  • Mills scores from three yards out

DL | ISAAC ADEYEMI-BERGLUND | CALGARY STAMPEDERS | CGY 36 – SSK 10

• Career-high of three sacks in a single game
• Sacks totalled a loss of 21 yards
• 2022 season: 18 games, career-bests in total tackles (20), defensive tackles (17) and sacks (eight)
