Winnipeg won without the yardage to show for it, sneaking out of Hamilton with a 14-13 win.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers got outgained 301-224 and still found a way to beat the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Tim Hortons Field. Winnipeg improves to 2-2, snapping a two-game funk, while Hamilton drops to 2-2 after squandering a game where its offense moved the ball far better than the scoreboard suggests. Neither team pulled away — Hamilton actually led at the half before Winnipeg's defense slammed the door in the second half. Both Zach Collaros and Bo Levi Mitchell left with game due to injury. Mitchell suffered a lower body injury that required him to be taken off the field by a stretcher.
