Vernon Adams Jr. threw for 422 yards and three scores as Calgary pulled away from Ottawa in the second half.
The Calgary Stampeders put up 45 points on the road, riding a huge night from their quarterback and a defense that forced a fourth-quarter turnover to close it out. The Ottawa Redblacks hung around and even outgained Calgary through the air, but a scoreless third quarter buried them. Calgary improves to 7-8 and stays in the thick of the West race, while Ottawa drops to 0-14 with nothing but pride left to play for.

Quick Hits
Adams Jr. lit up Ottawa's secondary, going 24-of-30 with three touchdowns and zero picks — his best line of the year against a defense that's now allowed 524 points on the season.
Ottawa actually out-threw Calgary in yardage, 436 to 422, but Bethel-Thompson's lone interception and a shutout third quarter killed any comeback hopes.
Fantasy managers should keep an eye on Tevin Jones and Jalen Philpot — both topped 120 receiving yards, and Calgary's air attack looks like it's hitting its stride late in the season.
