BC Lions Sign Central Michigan DB Ronald Kent Jr.

The BC Lions announced on Wednesday that they have signed American defensive back Ronald Kent Jr. Judging by his highlight tape he is a hard-hitting defensive back with great timing senses.

DB Ronald Kent Jr. – Central Michigan (24 y/o, 5’9, 176lbs)

Ronald Kent Jr. played his first 4 seasons of NCAA football at the FCS level with Western Carolina from 2018 to 2021. He played in 42 games with 38 starts for Western Carolina racking up 101 solo tackles, 60 assisted tackles, 28 pass breakups, and 2 interceptions. His 28 pass breakups placed him 2nd all-time in the program’s history for that category. He was named Second-Team All-Southern Conference in 2020 and 2021.

Kent Jr. played his final NCAA season in the MAC with Central Michigan in 2022. With the Chippewas, he played in 12 games with 10 starts contributing 36 solo tackles, 19 assisted tackles, 10 passes defended, and a sack.

Kent Jr. ran a 4.61 40-yard dash at his pro day and had a 32.5 vertical.
