The Elks are no
w on a 10-game losing streak having not won a game since September 15 of last year. They played great football much of this season but it’s already beginning to feel like they are out of the playoff race. The Commonwealth Curse is simply too powerful right now. McLeod Bethel-Thompson completed 27 of his 39 passes for 206 yards with 1 interception. It was his lowest yards per attempt so far this season at 5.3. On the ground, it was not much better for Edmonton as Kevin Brown was held to his lowest yards per carry as he rushed 9 times for 26 yards, 2.89 yards on average. One positive was the fact that it was the fewest points allowed so far this season by Edmonton. 4 different players recorded a sack including Nyles Morgan, Noah Taylor, Noah Curtis, and Romeo McKnight. Kai Gray and Darrius Bratton both had an interception.
Week 8: Hosting Hamilton on Sunday.
