Revenberg Returns: The O-Line Anchor Stays in Hamilton

Over the last two CFL seasons, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ offensive success has been a direct reflection of improvements along the Tiger-Cats’ offensive line. Those improvements have led to the Tiger-Cats improving their running game and their pass protection, which is vital for protecting quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell. In 2025, the Tiger-Cats averaged 5.1 yards/carry on the ground, and they have allowed only 27 quarterback sacks, which has led to Mitchell’s outstanding passing numbers over the last two seasons.

While many personnel changes have occurred along Hamilton’s offensive line over the last few years, a constant for the Tiger-Cats has been left guard Brandon Revenberg. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have announced that they have reached an agreement that will keep LG Revenberg on their offensive line for at least another season.

Brandon Revenberg has been a part of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats organization since 2016. During his time with the Tiger-Cats, Revenberg has played in 156 games. In addition, Revenberg has only missed two games in his CFL career, and neither was because of an injury. Revenberg has built a reputation for durability and reliability and embodies what it means to be a leader for the Tiger-Cats.

During the 2025 season, Revenberg started in all 18 regular-season games, and he was awarded his 4th East Division Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman award in 2025. In addition to being the most outstanding offensive lineman in the East Division, he has also been selected as an All-CFL player five times and an East Division All-CFL player six times. By all measures, Revenberg has been an elite lineman for the Tiger-Cats during his CFL career.

The 6’4″, 300-pound Revenberg is a native of Essex, Ontario. However, Revenberg played college football at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. While at Grand Valley State, Revenberg played in 32 games for the Lakers.
