The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are making their offensive line a priority as they work to re-sign pending free agents before the start of CFL free agency in February. So far this offseason, the Tiger-Cats have re-signed veteran Brandon Revenberg and Jakub Szott, and they added former Blue Bombers center Chris Kolankowski. During the 2025 season, the Tiger-Cats had one of their best seasons in recent years, helping lead their running game to over 1,600 rushing yards and allowing only 27 quarterback sacks.
Last season’s Tiger-Cats offensive line play in 2025 was good enough for Hamilton to work on maintaining that unit, including offensive tackle Quinton Barrow.
Quinton Barrow is a 6’6″, 331-pound offensive tackle who has become one of the best run-blocking offensive tackles in the CFL. Barrow’s size is prototypical of an NFL offensive tackle, but after playing college football at NCAA DII Grand Valley State in Michigan, Barrow needed an opportunity to prove himself. Over the last two seasons, Barrow has played in 25 games for Hamilton, and in 2025, he started all 18 regular-season games for the Tiger-Cats.
During his two seasons with the Tiger-Cats, Barrow has developed a reputation as an outstanding run blocker and an elite pass protector. In addition, Barrow has demonstrated the ability to work up to the second level in the run game and pull out in space to execute blocks. On the other hand, Barrow has had to improve his ability to win leverage consistently against defensive linemen, and he has had to work on his hand placement on blocks and on getting faster at shooting his hands. Returning to the Tiger-Cats gives him the chance to continue his growth and potentially become the best offensive tackle in the CFL.
