Montreal Alouettes Sign Wide Receiver Ramaud Chiaokhiao-Bowman

Per the Indoor Football League, the Montreal Alouettes have signed wide receiver Ramaud Chiaokhiao-Bowman. Bowman played for the Northern Arizona Wranglers of the Indoor Football League where he was named to the All-IFL Second Team in 2023. He played his collegiate career in the Big 10 with Northwestern.

Chiaokiao-Bowman is a strong receiver with great hands who demonstrated a good ability to adjust to the ball over his last season in the IFL. He measures at 6”2 and 215 pounds.

Chiaokiao-Bowman played in 16 games with the Wranglers in 2023 and caught 72 passes for 1,017 yards and 27 touchdowns. He was tied for first in touchdowns in the IFL last season, was 2nd in receiving yards, and 6th in receptions.

The Wranglers made it to the 2nd round of the IFL playoffs before losing to the Bay Area Panthers in the Semi-Finals. Over the 2 playoff games, Chiaokhio-Bowman had 11 receptions for 208 yards and 6 touchdowns. Remarkably he had 8 catches for 158 yards and 5 touchdowns in the first round of the playoffs against the Arizona Rattlers.

Chiaokiao-Bowman joined Northern Arizona in the IFL ahead of their first playoff game in 2022 and was a part of the team’s 2022 IFL championship. Over those 3 playoff games, he had 12 receptions for 147 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Chiaokiao-Bowman was invited to the Indianapolis Colts rookie minicamp in 2021 following a collegiate football career at Northwestern. He played in 38 games with 22 starts for Northwestern catching 82 passes for 968 yards and 6 touchdowns. In his senior year in 2020, he caught 41 passes for 508 yards and 5 touchdowns over 9 games and was an honorable mention All-Big Ten.
