Saskatchewan, Montreal, and Toronto remain undefeated so far this season. Meanwhile, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Hamilton are still looking for their first wins of the season. Despite the disparity in records among some teams the parity in the level of play has been strong with the majority of the games being very close so far this season.

The Edmonton Elks look for the first win as the BC Lions look to extend their win streak to 3 games. The BC Lions offense is red-hot right now. Edmonton’s quarterback McLeod Bethel Thompson is 2nd in the league in passing yards with 978 and has 6 touchdowns with 3 interceptions.

Montreal Alouettes @ Toronto Argonauts
Friday, June 28, 7:30 PM Eastern, Toronto, ON, TSN (Canada), CFL + (USA), CFL+ (Global)
The much-anticipated rematch of last year’s Eastern Final will see the Toronto Argonauts host the Montreal Alouettes. Cody Fajardo is coming off of a strong game for Montreal in which he completed 28 of his 35 passes for 393 yards and 3 touchdowns. Cameron Dukes for Toronto currently leads the league in completion percentage at 81.3% and is the only starting quarterback without an interception yet this season.
Writer’s Pick: 56 Montreal
Winnipeg Blue Bombers @ Calgary Stampeders
Saturday, June 22, 7:00 PM Eastern, Calgary, AB, TSN (Canada), CBS Sports Network (USA), CFL+ (Global)
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are in desperate need of their first win after starting the season off 0-3 for the first time since 2012. This is a key match for the Calgary Stampeders who have a chance to put some distance on the team that has won the West Division in each of the last 4 seasons. Winnipeg’s Zach Collaros had a slow start to the season and is still without a touchdown pass. Collaros did look good last week completing 23 of his 30 passes for 247 yards against BC. Calgary’s Jake Maier has had a great start to the season after completing 79.7% of his passes for 591 yards and 4 touchdowns with 1 interception over his first 2 games.
Writer’s Pick: 78% Winnipeg
Hamilton Tiger-Cats @ Ottawa RedBlacks
Sunday, June 23, 7:00 PM Eastern, Ottawa, ON, TSN (Canada), CBS Sports Network (USA), CFL+ (Global)
Hamilton is beginning to enter a territory of desperation as they are 3 games into the season without a win and their worst loss of the season came last week as they lost 20-36 to Saskatchewan. Ottawa while being a .500 team also needs to bounce back after being on the receiving end of a 47-21 loss to Montreal last week. Bo Levi Mitchell for Hamilton is currently third in the league in passing yards after completing 68.6% of his passes for 975 yards and 6 touchdowns with 5 interceptions, 3 of which were last week. Dru Brown has completed 60.3% of his passes for Ottawa for 530 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception over 2 games.
Writer’s Pick: 78% Hamilton
