With the 2024 CFL season fast approaching and just a month or so away, each of the nine teams that complete in the league will be fine-tuning their game plans and looking to make sure they are as sharp as possible when hitting the gridiron for the very first time this year.
Of course, each team will be looking a little newer ahead of the start of the campaign, with rookies having been drafted to each franchise following the 2024 CFL Draft. Indeed, the draft picks can have an influence on what happens on the field, which is why so many continue to keep tabs on the moves that are made.

The oldest of the bunch is Rene Paredes, who is the placekicker for the Calgary Stampeders. A two-time Grey Cup winner, he has only just celebrated his 39th birthday. He will be hoping that he will be able to win his third Cup, but according to the odds available at Betway, they are the least likely to be challenging.
In fact, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are the main favorites to win the title this year, and 38-year-old Stanley Bryant could have an impact. The offensive lineman is one of the most recent players to have hit this milestone and joined the organization from Calgary.
