The BC Lions outscored Winnipeg 25-3 in the fourth quarter to blow open a tight game.
BC trailed 16-10 heading into the final frame before its ground game took over, running away with a 35-19 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Princess Auto Stadium. The Lions improve to 3-5 with the road upset, while Winnipeg drops to 4-5 and slides further from the top of the West. Edmonton and Montreal remain the class of the league at 6-1 apiece, and this loss doesn't help Winnipeg's case for closing that gap.

Salter didn't need his arm much, going 7/15 passing but shredding Winnipeg's defense for 160 yards on the ground himself.
Brown was nearly perfect through the air at 18/21, but Winnipeg's offense couldn't find the end zone on the ground and it cost them late.
