Tyson Philpot put on a clinic, and the Alouettes stayed unbeaten with a 37-30 win at home.
The Montreal Alouettes moved to 2-0 on the young season, holding off a big passing day from the Toronto Argonauts to win 37-30 at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium. Toronto drops to 0-1 after a Week 2 loss that wasn't as close as the final score suggests — Montreal led by double digits after three quarters before the Argos made it interesting late. Montreal sits alone near the top of the East with back-to-back wins to start 2026.

Quick Hits
Philpot's 193 receiving yards on 9 catches was the game-defining performance — he torched Toronto's secondary for both Montreal majors.
Toronto actually out-gained Montreal 516 to 486 in total yards, but turnovers and a brutal fourth quarter cost them — Montreal outscored the Argos 20-10 in the final frame.
Chad Kelly threw for 445 yards and 3 TDs, but the 1 INT from Bubba Bolden was a costly one — fantasy managers should note the volume is there, but the ball security isn't.
