Quarterbacks:

I’m shying away from Vernon Adams Jr. (BC) and Cody Fajardo (MTL) who are playing each other largely due to the defenses. Montreal has some rookies in their secondary playing very well getting better every week and just held Collaros to 240 yards last week and had 2 pick 6s off of him. Collaros did have 4 touchdowns but a couple of them were on broken plays caused by miscommunication. BC has lost 2 games in a row for the first time in a long time and their defense is going to be dialed in.

J

ake Dolegala (SSK), and Taylor Powell (HAM) have both been very serviceable and both began the season as third-string quarterbacks. They are both young quarterbacks playing very good defenses which I find risky.

Tre Ford (EDM) QB @ CGY

Draft Kings Price: $9.7K

Game Zone Price: $11K

1

10Yards Ownership Percentage: 54%

Tre Ford has been an explosive dual-threat QB. Edmonton broke the Commonwealth Curse last week ending a 22-game at-home losing streak. Ford has been putting up the fantasy points since taking over as the starter.

Zach Collaros (WPG) QB vs. SSK

Draft Kings Price: $10.7K

G

ame Zone Price: $15K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 94%

Colloros with his team of talented receivers is always a safe bet.

class="wp-block-heading">Jake Maier (CGY) QB vs EDM

Draft Kings Price: $9K

Game Zone Price: $12.5K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 71%

M

aier looked great last week playing his best game of the year after a quiet stretch. He threw for 387 yards, 4 TDs and no picks. He looked confident in the pocket in the face of pressure.

Chad Kelly (TOR)

Draft Kings Price: $13.7K

Game Zone Price: $15K

1

10Yards Ownership Percentage: 79%

Kelly is on pace to be the MVP of the season and has shown great ability to push the ball downfield.

Runningbacks:

Taquan Mizzell (BC) @ MTL

Draft Kings Price: $9.2K

G

ame Zone Price: $11.9K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 69%

Montreal has been having a tougher time stopping the run in the last 2 games.

class="wp-block-heading">James Butler (HAM) vs TOR

Draft Kings Price: $10.4K

Game Zone Price: $10K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 92%

B

utler just had a monster game against his old team, BC, who has been good against the run.

A.J. Ouellette (TOR) or Brady Oliveira (WPG)

While not available at a lower price they have been the most consistent runningbacks.

Wide Receivers:

Players like Austin Mack, Dalton Schoen, Kenny Lawler, and Keon Hatcher are of course great picks every week. I will highlight some other receivers that are not quite at the top of Draft Kings’ price points.

I

am shying away from some of the Montreal receivers due to BC’s defense. I am also shying away from Saskatchewan and Hamilton receivers as both teams have quarterbacks playing who are early into their careers and are up against teams with good pass rushing. Taylor Powell (HAM) and Jake Dolegala (SSK) have both played well but I see an increased risk associated here.

Reggie Begelton (CGY) vs. EDM

Draft Kings Price: $9.3K,

Game Zone Price: $8K

1

10Yards Ownership Percentage: 88%

It seems like Jake Maier is out of his funk after posting big numbers last week.  Begelton had a monster game and is the clear number 1 WR in Calgary.

Marken Michel (CGY) vs. EDM

Draft Kings Price: $5.5K

G

ame Zone Price: $10K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 40%

Has had some great games for Calgary lately. Very fast player who has made a lot of big plays.

class="wp-block-heading">Alexander Hollins (BC) WR vs. EDM

Draft Kings Price: $8.7K

Game Zone Price: $13K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 81%

H

as been highly consistent for BC and has had huge games often when BC has other receivers injured and Dominique Rhymes is on injured reserve.

Eugene Lewis (EDM) @ CGY

Draft Kings Price: $6K

Game Zone Price: $10K

1

10Yards Ownership Percentage: 92%

Eugene Lewis is coming off of a big game and appears to be ramping up again after missing a portion of the season to injury.

Steven Dunbar Jr. (EDM) @ CGY

Draft Kings Price: $6.7K

G

ame Zone Price: $11K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 79%

Production has been ramping up with Tre Ford under center for Edmonton.

class="wp-block-heading">Tim White (HAM) vs. TOR

Draft Kings Price: $8.8K

Game Zone Price: $10K

110Yards Ownership Percentage: 88%

T

im White is simply a beast and he’s not expensive in Draft Kings.

Toronto Receivers

Damonte Coxie, DaVaris Daniels, Kurleigh Gittens Jr, Cam Phillips have all had a lot of great fantasy games and for the most part, they are priced well on Draft Kings.  Chad Kelly has done a great job spreading the ball around making it so any of these players can have a big game in any match. However, the target share is somewhat inconsistent so it can be a little less consistent from a fantasy perspective where a receiver might have a big game 1 week and a quieter 1 the next as someone else shines.
