The CFL regular season is over making this the final Power Rankings of the year. We nearly saw all 3 teams that were eliminated from the playoffs win in week 21 if not for a goal-line stand from the Ottawa RedBlacks at the 1-yard line to secure a victory over Hamilton. Winnipeg had a movie-like victory over Montreal that saw the North Wind arrive with significant strength in the final minute to aid them in their comeback in what was one of the most unique endings to a football game.
The Crown Holder and the Court Jester
Crown Holder 👑 – The Edmonton Elks took the Crown from Toronto by defeating them 31-30 at home to close out their season. The Commonwealth Curse is broken!
Court Jester 🃏 – The Calgary Stampeders forced the title of Court Jester onto the Saskatchewan Roughriders 27-12 on the road. Saskatchewan had many backups in their lineup but it was good for Calgary to finish the year on a positive note.
If a team defeats the Crown Holder they steal the Crown and become the new Crown Holder.
If a team loses to the Court Jester they become the new Court Jester thus freeing the previous team from being the Court Jester.
