Over their past 5 games, they have only allowed 1 passing touchdown while they have racked up 10 interceptions. Ottawa is coming off a close win in their home opener last week over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Montreal quarterback Cody Fajardo is coming off a 269-yard game with 2 touchdowns. Dru Brown had 238 passing yards and a touchdown in his debut as a RedBlack after playing his first 2 seasons for Winnipeg.

BC and Winnipeg will meet on Friday in a rematch of last year’s Western Final. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers return to Winnipeg after a loss on the road to Ottawa. Winnipeg has started the season with 2 losses after going all of last year without losing 2 consecutive games in a row. The BC Lions are coming off of a win in their home opener over the Calgary Stampeders.
BC’s Vernon Adams Jr. has completed 67.7% of his passes for 640 yards and 4 touchdowns with 1 interception. Winnipeg’s Zach Collaros has had a slow start to his season compared to what we have seen in recent years. Collaros has completed just 54.7% of his passes fro 494 yards without a touchdown and 3 interceptions over his first 2 games.

The Edmonton Elks look to be a much-improved team since last season but are still looking for their first win after 2 close losses to open the season. They will have a strong test as they face Toronto on the road. Toronto is coming off of a bye week. Week 1 saw the Argos win over BC in a game in which their pass rush dominated.
So far this season Edmonton’s McLeod Bethel-Thompson has 636 passing yards with 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions over 2 games. Toronto’s Cameron Dukes completed 21 of his 27 passes for 254 yards and 3 touchdowns in week 1.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats look for revenge as they face the Roughriders in Saskatchewan in week 3. Week 2 saw Hamilton host Saskatchewan which ended with the Riders winning on a game-winning field goal from Brett Lauther following a late-game interception that occurred off of a rare Tim White drop although they’ve been more often lately.
Saskatchewan’s Trevor Harris currently leads the league in passing yards with 695 yards and 5 touchdowns with 2 interceptions over 2 games. Hamilton’s Bo Levi Mitchell is close behind him in 2nd with 680 yards and 4 touchdowns with 2 interceptions. Both quarterbacks currently have a 71.1 completion percentage.
