The victory improved Calgary’s record to 10-7 while Toronto finished its season at 5-13. In the current CFL standings, the Saskatchewan Roughriders lead the West Division with a 12-5 record. The Calgary Stampeders and BC Lions are tied for second place at 10-7, both with 20 points. In the East Division, the Montreal Alouettes and Hamilton Tiger-Cats are tied atop the standings at 10-7. The Argonauts finished their 2025 campaign at 5-13, placing third in the East Division ahead of the Ottawa Redblacks who sit at 4-13.

The Stampeders entered the contest having already clinched a playoff spot following Edmonton’s loss to BC on Friday. Calgary took advantage of the momentum, opening the scoring with Greene’s pick-six and never looking back. Adams Jr. was nearly perfect, throwing three touchdown passes to three different receivers while completing 85.7 percent of his attempts. Mills added 115 rushing yards to lead the CFL in that category, while also contributing two receptions for 62 yards out of the backfield.
