The Roughriders under Jeromy O’Day have a history of not wanting to pay their top receivers. They let go Derel Walker and Duke Williams in part because they didn’t want to pay them. Now it’s Jake Wieneke. It makes many fans feel like the Roughriders are not serious about making a playoff run.
