CFL On TSN Week 13 TV Ratings

The CFL TV ratings on TSN in Week 13 were down from Week 12. Last week, CFL games on TSN averaged 522,000 viewers. In Week 13, the CFL averaged 429,000 viewers. For Week 11, the CFL averaged 415,000 viewers. 

However, Through 13 weeks, the 2021 CFL ON TSN season has attracted an average audience of 502,000 viewers, increasing +4% compared to the same point in the 2019 season.

CFL ON TSN WEEK 13 TV RATINGS

The CFL had back-to-back doubleheader games airing on Friday 10/29 and Saturday 10/30. Here is how those games fared in the TV ratings.

Friday 10/29

  • The late Friday night contest, which saw Hamilton Tiger-Cats defeat the Edmonton Elks 39-23 averaged 403,000 viewers.

Saturday 10/30

  • The Toronto Argonauts 31-29 playoff clinching overtime victory over the BC Lions at BMO Field averaged 345,000 viewers.
  • The final CFL game of Week 13 on Saturday night saw the Saskatchewan Roughriders edge out the Montreal Alouettes 19-14. The game averaged 583,000 viewers. Tops for the week, to no one’s surprise, considering that the Riders are consistently the CFL’s top-rated team.

There are only three weeks remaining in the CFL regular season. The CFL playoffs will commence on Sunday, Nov 28, with the Eastern and Western Semi-Finals. Followed by the finals a week later, on Dec 5, culminating with the 108th Grey Cup on Sunday, Dec 12 at 6 pm ET. The Eastern final and Grey Cup will air on ESPN2, as well as on TSN. CFL games all season long have aired mostly on ESPN+ and ESPNNews in the United States.
