CFL Week 6 TV Ratings On TSN

The CFL TV Ratings are in for this past weekend’s games on TSN. A week ago, the Canadian Football League’s games on TSN during Labour Day Weekend averaged 572,000 viewers. An increase of 27% compared to week 5 of the 2019 season. For the season, the CFL is averaging 535,000 viewers per game.

Here are the numbers from the CFL four games that aired on TSN in Week 6.

CFL ON TSN WEEK 6 TV RATINGS

  • Friday night’s 9/10 LDC rematch between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Toronto Argonauts averaged 362,000 viewers.

  • The 9/11, 4 pm game between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers attracted an average audience of 551,000 viewers.
    • Saturday’s 9/11, 7pm telecast featuring the Calgary Stampeders and Edmonton Elks averaged 593,000 viewers..
    • The final late night Saturday contest between the BC Lions and Ottawa Redblacks averaged 358,000 viewers.

    In Week 6, the CFL average viewership was 466,000. Down 18.6 percent from last week’s 572,000 average. However, through the first 6 weeks of the season. CFL ON TSN audiences are up 11% compared to 2019.

    The CFL is also airing weekly games on ESPN+ and ESPNNews. But because Nielsen Media Research no longer monitors ESPN News ratings. There are no official numbers made available by the network. Nielsen monitors only games on ESPN & ESPN2.

    The only remaining ESPN2 regular-season telecast of a CFL game is on Friday, September 24th, between Saskatchewan and BC. The following ESPN2 broadcast will occur in the playoffs on November 28th, with the Eastern Semi-Final. Followed by the broadcast of The 108th Grey Cup, which will air on ESPN2 on Sunday, December 12th.

      the same 2 country music songs every single time before commercials, has me now ,no longer watching the cfl. Its excruciating!!
      Have resorted to watching the baseball playoffs. And i cant stand baseball!!
      Sort it tsn. People who follow cfl,are not all country music fans!!
