Hamilton Tiger-Cats Updated Roster Moves

On September 1st, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats gave an update about recent roster transactions.

One of the most notable moves was the signing of LB Jarek Richards, who was selected by the Tiger-Cats in the fourth round of the 2021 CFL draft. He was released during final roster cuts at the beginning of August, but is now back with the team.

The other notable move was the addition of QB David Watford to the active roster. Watford was part of the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad in 2016, and joined the CFL in 2017 as a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He was then signed by the Tiger-Cats in 2019. Watford was cut by the team back in June, but has now returned after spending time on the suspended list.

In addition to those two, Hamilton also signed OL Travis Vornkahl to the practice roster. RB Wes Hills and LB Myles Manalo were placed on the six-game injured list.
