Hollywood dynamo Ryan Reynolds and funnyman Will Ferrell were caught at Super Bowl LVI between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals, but Ferrell wasn’t sporting orange and back for the Bengals, he was repping the B.C. Lions!

Ryan Reynolds, a Vancouver native, and longtime Lions fan recruited Ferrell into the fold, and as you can see he wasted no time making a splash by showing up to the biggest NFL game of the year in CFL gear.

Even though the Bengals sport black as their primary color over the Lions’ primary orange, it was great to see the teams being supported by big names.

BC lions staff say that they’d welcome the Hollywood comedian to the broadcasting booth after the legend Bob Marjanovich retires. These are sure signs that the CFL is garnering more attention from a broader audience. Especially those NFL fans who can’t get enough of the sport, and want to get a start on the season early.
