In a late-night, last-minute ordeal, the CFL players have voted to ratify the CBA ahead of the 2022 CFL season. The good news is that the CFL season rolls on, big is it all good news as it relates to the CFL Canadian ratio, player pay and salary caps heading in the 2023 season and beyond? We bring on Football Canada president Jim Mullin to provide some breaking analysis and the news came out on Twitter. Jim has reservations that the players might have given up TOO much of the “Canadian” in the Canadian Football League in an attempt the get the 2022 CFL season underway. What long-term ramifications with the changes to the Canadian ratio have on the CFL moving forward and what could have been done alternatively? We discuss.
