Alouettes Release First Injury Report

The Montreal Alouettes released their first injury report Tuesday ahead of their season opener against the Edmonton Elks. Because they had a bye in Week 1, it wasn’t necessary to announce any players who had been limited at all in practice.

Together with single-game betting becoming legal this year thanks to Bill C-218, the CFL started publicly disclosing injuries for the 2021 season.

Listed on Tuesday’s report were WR Rashad Ross (knee), DB Patrick Levels (finger, hip), LB Jermaine Grace (Achilles), and FB Alexander Dupuis (hip). All were listed as “limited” in practice, which means the player’s participation was any degree less than what they usually do.

Edmonton also released their report on Tuesday.

WR Armanti Edwards (knee), OL Kyle Saxelid (back), and DL Christian Rector (hamstring) were all limited.

OL D’Ondre Wesley (non-injury), OL D’Antne Demery (knee), and DB Brian Walker (COVID-19 protocol) did not participate.
